Yvonne Bentley York

Yvonne Bentley York, 76, passed away on May 1, 2024 peacefully at St Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho.

She was born on June 17, 1947 in Cedar City, Utah. She was the daughter of Darwin and Effie Condie. She grew up on her family farm in Fruitland and attended and graduated from Fruitland High School. She later married and had four children. She was employed at Woodgrain Millworks for over 30 years before retiring.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, and doing crafts, along with visiting with her siblings, children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for being sassy and onery.

She is survived by her children, Sheri (Van) Carlson, Eric (Christy) York and her daughter-in-law Kristie York. Her siblings, Ben Condie, Collen Husfloen, Ranae (Ed) Mahler, Joe (Carol) Condie, George (Marsha) Condie and stepsister Deanna (Olen) Wilson. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons Albert L York Jr. and Todd L York, her sister Juna (Lynn) Robinson, her stepbrothers Boyd Jackson, Vance Jackson, Jaron Jackson, and Glade Jackson.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fruitland LDS church with interment at the Park View Cemetery.
