Vivian Smith Obituary

Mary Vivian (Fillmore) Smith, 81 of Payette passed away Monday, July 18, 2022.  

Mary Vivian Smith was born May 16, 1941, to Donald Alison Fillmore and Esther Vivian Tuckness Fillmore. Vivian attended grade school in Arock, Oregon; Kuna, Idaho; and graduated from Nampa High School in 1960.

Mary Vivian Fillmore married Elmer (Bud) Sparks on June 6, 1959. They had three daughters Jamie Ann, Kimberly Kay, and Tracy Wylene in that union of marriage; they later divorced.

On July 13, 1979, Vivian married Roger Dean Smith of Mason City, Iowa. Vivian and Roger were passionate about fishing, boating, family, and flea markets. Vivian was a long-term employee at the Idaho State School.

Vivian is survived by her three daughters Jamie Ann Olivera (Manny), Kimberly Kay Lopez (Randy), Tracy Wylene Sparks, two brothers Tom Fillmore (Gloria), Ralph Fillmore (Kay), and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Smith, her parents Donald and Esther Fillmore, sister Donna Buchanan, brother-in-law Bucky Buchanan, and stepson Roy Lee Smith.

A Celebration of Her and Roger's lives will be held at the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel in Payette, on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 2 pm.  A picnic dinner will follow at the Kiwanis Park across the street.
