Stan Clements Obituary

Stanley Walter Clements passed away on September 15, 2024 surrounded by his loving family, just the way he wanted. Stan was born in Cascade, ID. He was the middle child and the only boy. His family moved to Emmett Idaho when he was five years old. Stan worked with his father Walter "Pete" Clements most of his life. He started in the grocery business when his father and uncle purchased the Shamrock Market in Emmett. Years later they created All Valley Agency, Inc. in Payette. While growing up in Emmett Stan grew to love fast cars. A passion that he shared with his son Todd and grandson Brayden. Stan attended Boise State for a short time and worked at a grocery store that was close to the college. On his way to and from the grocery store, he met his beautiful wife Kathy. Stan and Kathy were married on Stan's 21st birthday September 8, 1971, when they decided after six weeks they wanted to get married and eloped to Elko, NV. Stan and Kathy went on to create a beautiful family when they were blessed with twins Todd Clements and Jody (Steve) Henderson and later a daughter Jessica who is deceased. Stan was a wonderful father who enjoyed teaching his children about life. Stan and Kathy were a great team and together they owned and ran several businesses. Including the Ben Franklin Variety Store and The Super Clean Car Wash. In 1983 he with his father Pete and Kathy created All Valley Insurance Agency, Inc., which they ran successfully for 41 years. Stan always believed in community and was always very involved with The Payette Chamber of Commerce. He and Kathy were recently recognized as the longest serving members of the Payette Chamber of Commerce. He was also honored as the 2024 Apple Blossom Festival Grand Marshal. Stan was always the life of the party. He valued the friendships he made throughout the years and always loved to have a good time. He was adventurous and loved a good roller coaster. Stan will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Kathy, whom he was married to for 53 years. He truly was the love of her life. Stan is survived by his wife, Kathy; their children, Jody (Steve) Henderson and Todd Clements; grandchildren, Brayden Clements and Elli Clements; sisters, Anita (Dean) Draper and Janet (Peter) Angleton; and many nieces and nephews.
