Raymond Laverne McPherson

               Raymond Laverne McPherson, 89, of Payette, Idaho passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was born on January 3, 1934 in Boise, Idaho to George W. McPherson and Neillie Adams. He married Thelma C. Brown on February 16, 1952 at Shelly, Idaho. They moved to Ontario, Oregon in 1956. He worked for a cement finisher retiring in 2016. Two of Raymond’s favorite activities were hunting and fishing. Raymond is survived by one daughter, two sons, five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma. During his career he worked on many construction projects such as the interstate from Caldwell to Lime, Oregon, Mason Dam, Bully Creek Dam, Mann Dam, Snake River Bridge between Ontario and Fruitland, and residential projects all over the lower Treasure Valley.
