Nola S. Miller, 86, of Fruitland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 17, 2019 surrounded by her family by her side.
Nola was born in Rigby, Idaho on December 31, 1932. She was the daughter of Arthur and Dora Cuthbert. She was raised in Rigby, Idaho and later she moved with her family to Ontario, Oregon.
She graduated from Ontario High School in 1951. She married Don F. Gibbs Sr. in Payette, Idaho on October 8, 1955.
Nola is preceded in death by her husbands, Don F. Gibbs, Sr., Lyman M. Smith and William J. Miller, her parents, brothers and sister. She was the last of that generation.
Nola is survived by her three sons, Don F. Gibbs, Jr, Charles A. Gibbs and wife Flora Gibbs, Richard L. Gibbs and partner Sandra Hess, two grandchildren, Amber Gibbs and Kishi Stice and one great grandson, Zaiden Stice as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Nola loved her children, cherished her grandchildren, and really loved her great grandchild. Spending time with her family was so important. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends Lila and Doyel, Charlet and Larry, Virginia and Ella. She loved to travel, volunteer, read and serve the Lord. She was truly a wonderful woman and she was cherished by her family and all that knew her.

A memorial service will be held at the Payette United Methodist Church at 502 N 11th St, Payette on Thursday, June 27th at 11:00 am with a potluck to follow.
