Milton Middleswart Obituary

Milton "Chub" A. Middleswart, 86, of Gillet, Wyoming, passed away on April 4, 2024, in Fruitland, Idaho.

Milt loved the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, traveling, and being with family and friends. He graduated from Arvada High School in Arvada, Wyoming, and the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. He spent the next four years helping his mom work on a ranch in Biddle, Montana, before moving to Virginia City, Nevada, to work for the National Cash Register Company in Reno, Nevada. After 20 years of service, he retired and became a partner at Taylor Canyon Resort in Tuscarora, Nevada. He later sold his shares and moved to Ontario, Oregon, to help his aunt Fernell Read. He then moved to a retirement home in Fruitland, Idaho, where he lived until his passing.

He is survived by his sister, Eva Dabney; five nieces; one nephew, Aunt Fernell Read; stepdaughters Sylvia Dickenson and Beverly Tyler; granddaughter Nicole Thatcher; and great-grandsons Will, Nolan, and Eli. Chub was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother-in-law Fred Dabney, stepson Tom Tyler, and one nephew.
