Michael Chappell Obituary

Mike Chappell, 65, of Payette ID passed away April 25, 2020. Mike's 15
year battle with Parkinson's Disease finally ended on Saturday.
He worked as a master plumber and Plant Operation Manager. His true love
was flying. Flying whenever he could, Mike became a flight instructor to
teach his love of flying to others.
Mike's interests were diverse and included traveling, camping, fishing,
and photography. He loved all animals and was known for bringing home
lost dogs and birds.
Mike loved life and was a kind and compassionate soul, rarely speaking a
harsh word. He would always lend a helping hand and was fun loving. Mike
was especially easy to talk to and made friends easily.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Norma and Charles. Survived
by his spouse of 45 years, Cindy, stepfather, Tony, sister Pam (Larry),
brothers Steve (Peggy), Bill (Jolynn),Pete and Matt and all of his
nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Saint Alphonsus Hospital and Heart
'n Home Hospice.

A celebration of life will be announced at a future date. In lieu of
flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.

Mike will be missed by all who loved him. His nephew Tim stated it best,
“I lit a candle to remember a person that was very special to all of
us. When thinking of him it always makes me smile.”
