It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jeannie Apple, who died on Thursday July 2nd, at the age of 77. Born November 26, 1948 in National City, California, Jean was the beloved daughter of Earl & Audrey Schwaesdall. She grew up in the Chula Vista and San Diego area of California. She met Robert (Tom) Apple in 1968, they married in 1970. In 1971 they moved to Nyssa Oregon to raise their family. Jeannie dedicated her life to her family and friends always being that voice, a smile or her infectious laughter to brighten someone’s day. Over the years Jeannie worked different jobs, but found her calling providing cleaning services to many families over a 30-year period. She took great pride in making their homes shine. Among her greatest joys was her family, she loved them all with her golden heart that shined like a bright star. She loved hanging out with friends, attending church, gardening, crafting and singing karaoke. Jeannie is survived by her spouse Tom Apple, daughters Gina & Ron Freel, Aundra & Danny Simpson, and Jamie Hamilton. Grandchildren: Daniel Apple, Ronald Freel, Austin & Adam Simpson, Jessica, Josh and James Hamilton. She was proceeded in death by her parents Earl & Audrey Schwaesdall, brother Ronald Sullivan, and granddaughter Jennifer Hamilton. There will be a graveside service at Hilltop Cemetery on Saturday, July 11th at 2:00 PM.
