Jack Wade Robbins Jr., a Weiser resident of more than 60 years, passed away at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, on September 10, 2023.
Born May 12, 1951 to Jack and Adeana Robbins in Astoria Oregon, Jack Jr. was soon joined by his twin sisters Ellen and Elane in 1954. Jack Jr. spent his adolescence traveling due to Seniors Naval service only to return to Weiser for good.
Jack loved outdoor activities in his day, an avid hunter and fisherman with stories and tales of any game that could be hunted in the northwest of the United States from sturgeon to elk, to pheasant and salmon.
Jack retired after a full career at the Fry Foods Corporation's Weiser location.
In Jack's later years his interest in all things audio like CB (Citizen Band) Radio or Hi-Fi Stereo Systems eventually turned into a love for Folk and Fiddler music. Jack could be seen at the Weiser Fiddler Festival music park every year.
Jack is survived by his sister Elane, Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 14, at 10am at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weiser. Arrangements for his funeral service are under direction of Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel Payette and Ontario.
