Gladys Theresa Mckelvy

Gladys Theresa Bacon Bivins McKelvy, 88 of New Plymouth, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018.  She was born February 28, 1930 to Alma Theresa and John Charles Bacon at Sacramento Hospital, Sacramento, CA. She is survived by a brother Leonard Charles Bacon of WA and sister Florence Adele Ragsdale of Baker City, OR, Daughters: Teresa Lee Howe of Henderson, NV, Kathleen Adele House of Emmett, ID, Gloria Jean Beutler of New Plymouth, ID and a son Blake Lenard Bivins Jr. of WA, 11 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren and one due in June.

She spent her years in OR and ID and retired from the New Plymouth, ID Post Office. She loved fishing and spending time with Wilbur McKelvy at the McKelvy Retreat on Brownlee Reservoir. She also worked at Quisenberry’s in Ontario, OR, Byron’s Dime Store in Payette, ID, sold Avon and Tupperware. She belonged to the Eagles Club and Lion’s Club.
