On Saturday July 27, 2019, Jane Dennell graduated from this life into her next adventure. Jane was born in Estacada, Oregon in 1932. She spent many decades living in Florida and New York to be with her children and grandchildren before later settling in Payette, Idaho. She spent the rest of her life making her home in Payette, and opened a flourishing holistic health care practice and store, The Willow Tree in Fruitland, which she operated with her husband, John Close throughout the rest of her life. Her clients affectionately knew her as Mother Willow and valued her depth of knowledge in wellness and spirituality. She was an experienced and dedicated registered nurse and herbalist, who made it her life’s work to serve and connect with her community.
Her family will remember her for her love of life, her fierce protectiveness, her unique sense of humor, and her unflinching wisdom. Her quick wit and huge heart, will be missed by all who knew her, but we rejoice that she is no longer bound by the physical limitations of her failing body. She will live on in the lives, hearts and memories of all whom she touched.
After a long and full life, Jane is survived by her husband John Close, her daughters Allison Grayson (Chris), Janice Weisgerber (Sherman), and Denise Kashuba (Victor), her stepdaughter Christina Close, grandchildren James Sheridan (Sandy), Angela Crowe (Keith), Erin Tueche (Adam), Dylan McCaughey (Kiley) and Lindsay Kashuba.
Jane is also survived by seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and her brother James (Chris)
Mariman. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Dodie Brown, brother Danny Mariman, four infant children and stepson Daniel Close.
Memorial Services will be August 17 at Calvary Chapel, Ontario Oregon at

Family will have a private gathering also at a later date.
