Darrell Duane Thomas

Darrell Duane Thomas passed away at home May 23, 2026. He is survived by his three daughters Dinah Thomas, Marissa Thomas and Rebecca Thomas. His sister Karen Cooper and his parents Sherian Chard and Duane Thomas. Darrell was a man who lived with both deep struggles and deep love. He was a human being who fought difficult battles while still trying to give love in the ways he knew how. Some of our most meaningful memories came from that love. The memories of conversations, jokes, lessons and the feeling that no matter what he loved his family deeply. His story was imperfect, but his love was real. We carry forward the memories of the man he was during his brightest moments and hold close the reminder that every person is more than their struggle. God grant us the serenity to accept the things we can not change, the courage to change the things we can and the wisdom to know the difference.
