Danny "Dan" Wayne Ziegler

Dan was born on January 4, 1963, to Marvin and Norma Ziegler in Orange County, California.  He died December 23, 2021, in Orange County, California while vising family for the holidays.

He attended school in both California and Idaho, Treasure Valley Community College and received his Law Enforcement certificates from the College of Southern Idaho.  Dan enjoyed his service as a police officer receiving numerous commendations for that service.  Following his nearly 20 year police career he spent time in the Middle East working for a private security contractor of the US Department of Defense.   Shortly after returning from the Middle East he took another contract in Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina. 

Dan is survived by his wife, Danna Ziegler, sons Joseph Ziegler (Mae), Jacob Ziegler (Jennifer), his mother Norma Ziegler, and sister, Janis Paikoff.  Dan has six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who adore their “Uncle Dan”.  Dan was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Moran and Father, Marvin Ziegler. 

A private family graveside service will be held January 21 arranged by Haren-

Wood Funeral Chapel Ontario.
