Coleene M. (Eichler) King

Coleene (Eichler) King, 71 of Boise, Idaho, passed away July 6, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Coleene was born May 14, 1947 in Weiser, Idaho, to Verle and Lena Eichler. She attended Payette High School, graduating in 1965. Coleene married Perry (Shorty) King on December 18, 1965. Years later they moved to Prineville, Oregon and on January 27, 1974 they were blessed with a son, Jerry Alan King. Coleene's husband, Shorty, was sadly taken in a truck accident in 1981. During their years together they also fostered several children. After Shorty passed, Coleene moved back to Payette. With her mom, Lena and her son, they bought a farm and lived there for many happy years. When her mom, Lena, passed in 2000, Coleene moved to Boise, Idaho to be closer to her son, Jerry, daughter in law, Trisha, and her three grandchildren, Daegan, Jakel, and Korben. Coleene's cancer got worse in 2017. She then moved in with her son and lived there the remainder of her life. Through the years Coleene worked as a clerk, bartender, owned a restaurant in Cascade, Idaho, and worked as a real estate agent. Coleene's biggest thrills were her grandchildren. She loved watching them play numerous sports, being their biggest cheerleader from the sidelines. She loved camping with family and friends. So many memories were made. She loved many and we loved her. In her life her biggest accomplishment and joy, was her son, Jerry. Her love for him was unmeasurable. Coleene was proceded in death by her parents, Verle and Lena, her husband, Shorty, and two brothers, Bobby and Verle Jr. She is survived by her son, Jerry, his wife, Trisha, and her three grandchildren, Daegan, Jakel and Korben, and her brother, Ronny Eichler. Graveside services will be held by at Rosedale Memorial Gardens (10350 Iowa Ave. N. Payette, ID 83661) on Thursday July 12th, 2018, at 10:00 a.m under the direction of the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Payette. Dinner will follow at Treasure Valley Eagles (620 S.
