Carolyn Lyndaker

Carolyn Solleveld Lyndaker of Fruitland, Idaho, formerly of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away in her home surrounded by her family. She left us after a short period at the age of 58 on November 8th, 2021.

She was passionate about her family, especially with her grandchildren. She lived an experienced and harmonious life filled with adventure. She was always willing to help anyone at any time. She was a loving mother, a loving wife, and a resilient woman.

She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, the second youngest sibling of seven on April 29th, 1963.

At a young age, she left for New York City and began working for a printing company.

In 1982, Carolyn birthed Natalie and moved back to Salt Lake City to raise her. Shortly after, she married Patrick Johnson and had her second child, Leslie Johnson, in 1988, continuing her residence while raising her children.

In 1994 she married Dick Newson and became a mother of five stepsons as well as already having her two daughters. In 1997 she began her wedding planning business and thrived in decorating, organizing, and helping others.

In 2004 her first grandchild, Roxanne, was born from her first daughter Natalie. She also has three other younger grandchildren- Neil and Lily, of Leslie; and Anneke from Natalie. Her life began to center around her relationship with her grandchildren. She loved them with all her heart from day one and she was very involved in their life.

In 2013, Carolyn found her soulmate and married Bryant "Bear" Lyndaker. They moved to Fruitland, Idaho to start new. She lived a healthy and prosperous life surrounded by the people she loved most alongside her loving husband. She loved to attend church and actively participated in the community.

Carolyn was an outstanding mother, wife, and grandmother. We appreciate the many people that were part of her life that are here today to reflect on the good memories she has had. The memorial service is on November 20, 2021 at 11AM in the Fruitland LDS church. She would want donations be made to your local food bank in her name.
