Vernie K. (Cooper) Eggers

Vernie Eggers, 85, Payette, Idaho, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 with family by her side.

Vernie K. Cooper was born May 1,1934 in Linneus, Missouri to John and Helen Cooper.

Vernie married Harry Eggers June 1,1952 in Winnemucca, Nevada. They lived in Ontario, Oregon where they welcomed their first son Richard, May 3,1953. June 17,1954 their second son Ken was born. Harry and Vernie moved their family to Coos Bay, Oregon in 1955. On June 16,1961, their third son Tom was born. They then moved back to Ontario. June 3,1964 they welcomed their fourth child Patty and then moved back to Coos Bay, Oregon. In 1967 they moved their family back to Ontario, where their fifth child Deanna was born August 17, 1969. Vernie loved her family and is survived by her sisters, Vera Webster and Linda Roberts; brothers, Floyd Cooper and Lloyd Cooper. Children, Ken, Tom, Patty and Deanna. 22 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren.

Vernie was preceded in death by her husband Harry; Granddaughter Dayna Eggers; Parents, John and Helen Cooper; Sisters Charlotte Green and Sharon Hill; and Brothers Clayton Cooper and Wayne Cooper.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Payette Care Center, Payette, Idaho and Heart and Home Hospice, Fruitland, Idaho for all their support and encouragement. We would also like to thank all the doctors and nurses involved in moms care.

A service celebrating her life will be held at Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, 860 6th Ave. S. in Payette, Friday, January 24, 2020 at 2 p.m. with a dinner to follow at the Payette Senior Center.
