Verna Mae (Carlson) Daudt

Verna Mae Daudt, 88 of Payette passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at her home.  A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 10 am - noon at the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Payette with a graveside service at 1:00 pm on Friday at the Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette.

Verna was born in Mills, Nebraska on December 6, 1922 to Joe and Margaret Cleveland Carlson.  She married Herbert Daudt in Weiser on May 15, 1941.  The couple enjoyed traveling to various locations to visit family.  She enjoyed fishing, camping and handwork and was a member of the Pilgram Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband Herbert Daudt of Payette, 2 sons Duane (Mary) of Weiser, Garrett (Kim Lien) of Payette, a daughter Wilma (Dave) Watson of Payette, a brother Floyd (Helen) Carlson of Aumsville, Oregon, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, a daughter Ilene Kane and a granddaughter Cheri' Annette Daudt.
