Ruth Minnie Manzer

Ruth Minnie Manzer, 92, went to be with The Lord, on October 21, 2019. A former Payette resident, passed away while residing at Wells Springs, Ontario. She was born January 7, 1927 in Abington, Virginia to Guy and Roxie Miller. Ruth starting working at her first job, at age 12, in a Laundry. At 16 she was working in an Ammunition Factory and was married to Roland Roark. She finally retired at Ore-Ida at age 65. Her hobbies included Hunting, Fishing, Bingo and Dancing. She also liked to travel to The East Coast to visit her Relatives. She is survived by two sons, Donald(Dena)Roark and Earl(Theresa)Roark, three brothers of Virginia, Henson, Shirdon and Hobert Pope, and one sister, Dartha Steele of Prineville, Oregon. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 12:00 at Rosedale Memorial Gardens. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Payette.
