Robert C. Neese

Robert Calvin Neese, 86 of Payette passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was born on June 5, 1931 in Weiser, Idaho. He was the eldest child of Ralph and Rebecca Nees. He was known as Bob by all who knew him. He attended elementary and high school in Payette graduating in 1950. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Jeanie Dixon on Valentines Day 1953. They were married for 65 years. They had one son Kevin and two daughters Barbara and Suzanne. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. Bob spent most of his working years at Greif's Music Center. He was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone; was an accomplished musician and singer. He and his wife Jeanie were singing partners; entertained for many years and won singing contests. They shared a love of travel, music and their three children. Bob had many talents. In addition to his musical ability he was very knowledgeable in the field of electronics and carpentry. It seemed he could fix anything. He was liked by everyone who knew him. He was proceeded in death by his parents, and brothers, Eddie and Carl. He is survived by his wife Jeanie, son Kevin of Dallas, Texas and daughters, Barbara Grant and Suzanne Neese of Fruitland, Idaho and one grandson Brian Grant of Tumwater, Wa. He is also survived by 6 sisters and 4 brothers. He will be greatly missed by all. Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 2pm at the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel in Ontario followed by inurnment with military honors at Parkview Cemetery in New Plymouth.
