Grace Marie Enterkine

Grace Marie Enterkine, 77 of Payette, Idaho passed away on April 20, 2019.

She was born to parents Wayne Elmer and Dorothy May Gilbert on December 5, 1941 in Nyssa, Oregon.

She attended school in Payette, Idaho, and furthered her studies at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon becoming a Certified Welder.

Grace Marie was known to her family and friends as “Marie”. She worked as a line operator for the HJ Heinz Co. in their Ontario, Oregon Ore-Ida plant for 33 years retiring in 2006.  During her years there she made many friends and was active in helping out as much as she could with needed fund raisers and acting as shop steward for several years.

Marie enjoyed working with the girls in her Girl Scout Troops, and became a neighborhood chairman for the Silver Sage Girl Scout Council to continue working with them.  She also enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. Marie was an avid bowler and headed  up several leagues. Additionally she enjoyed baseball and played for the Ore-Ida teams.  Her true pride and passion was her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grand children.

Marie met and married William Carl Enterkine on December 25, 1960 in Payette, Idaho. Together they had two children, Terry Lee Enterkine (Carol) of Egg Harbor, NJ.  Tamara Lynn Magnuson (John) of Ontario, OR.

Marie is survived by her children, grand children, Amanda Sebasto, William Enterkine, Joshua Braun, Cameron Enterkine. As well as her great grand children, Jaelyne Braun, Madyson Shelby, Cayden Sebasto, Kaleb Shelby, and Grace Enterkine.

Marie was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband and sister Phyllis E Babcock.

The family has entrusted  Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, 840 6th Ave. S., Payette, Idaho.  83661.  with the arrangements.  A graveside service is scheduled for:  Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 9:00 am at the Riverside Cemetery, 1969 N River Rd., Payette, Idaho. 83661
