Donald Lee Goodwin

Donald Lee Goodwin, 68 of Fruitland passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at his home.  He was born on January 14, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa to E.H and Loretta Goodwin.  He was the youngest of four children.  He served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968.  He was awarded the Bronze Star.  He married Teena Johnson. Out of that union they had two children.  They finally divorced.  For the last eight years he had his wonderful companion, Pauline by his side until his death.  He leaves behind two sisters, Karen Lent of Twin Falls, Idaho and Marilyn Cox of Ontario, Oregon, one brother Ralph Goodwin of Jerome, Idaho, two children, Rex Goodwin of Oregon City, Oregon and Mindy (Goodwin) Volmer of Payette, Idaho, four grandchildren, John Mitchell, Bradley Mitchell, Callie Volmer and Jakobie Goodwin.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Memorial graveside services are scheduled for Friday, August 24, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Idaho State Veteran’s Cemetery in Boise.  The guestbook may be signed and condolences sent to the family at www.Haren-Wood.com.
