Richard Burley, 72 of Huntington passed away at his brother's home with his family by his side on Monday, January 25, 2010.  Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, February 1, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel in Ontario.  Committal services will be held at the Huntington Cemetery at 1:00 pm (mst) on Monday.  Services are under the direction of the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Ontario. 

Richard was born April 29, 1937 in Broadus, Montana to William and Ortha Edwards Burley.  He is survived by 3 sons; Bill Burley of Huntington, Larry Burley of Lake Owyhee and Clark Burley of Vista, California, 4 daughters; Deb McLean of Huntington, Peggy Lockett and Kandy Shepard of Ontario and Terrie Warren of Fairview, Oregon, a step-son Richard Scherer of Caldwell, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, 3 brothers; Dean Burley, Neil Burley and Roger Burley and a sister Darlene Kelly. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jim and wives: Dolores Stumbaugh Burley and Betty Mager Burley.

The family expresses special thanks to Roger and Joanne Burley, and Heart-N-Home Hospice for their love and care of our father.

He knows our burdens and our crosses, those things that hurt, our trials and our losses.  He cares for every soul that cries, God wipes tears from weeping eyes.
