Freda M. “Moon” (Mullins) Palmer, age 80, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at Holy Rosary Hospital, Ontario, Oregon.
She was born August 30, 1929 in Nampa, Idaho to Aaron Tyler and Rosella (White) Mullins. Freda graduated from Ontario High School in 1947. She lived and worked in the Ontario area for most of her life. In 1973, she married Kelvin D. Palmer.
Freda was a member of Emblem Club, American Legion and an active volunteer for several other organizations. She loved crocheting, socializing with friends and spending time with her family. She was always the life of the party.
Freda is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Kelvin; two daughters, Cheryl Holland of Nampa, Idaho and Debra and her husband Sam Lakey of Council, Idaho. Grandchildren include Traci and her husband Robert Indart of Nampa, Idaho; Heather and her husband Jim Campbell of Boise, Idaho; Ashlie Hovde of Boise, Idaho; Amy and her husband Kevin McLaggan of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Jacob and his wife Maria Lakey of Kuna, Idaho. Freda was also very proud of her thirteen great grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to her life.
Graveside services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Ontario. |
