Hector J. Martinez, age 51 of Ontario, Oregon passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at his home. He was born in Nyssa, Oregon in 1958. He married Debra Rodriquez in July of 1979. They had 3 children, Nena Martinez, 29, Sylvia Martinez, 24, and Hector Martinez Jr. 20, all of Ontario, Oregon a grandchild, Yessenia Martinez, 6 months. He is survived by his brothers, Rafael of Twin Falls, Ramon of Nampa, Preciliano of Star, Enrique of Wenatchee, Wa, and sisters Julia Granado of Rupert, Lucia Reynosa of Fruitland, Alicia Zamora of Caldwell, Gloria Chavez of Nampa, Anita Martinez of Marsing, Esther Aguniga of Rupert, Lily Gongora of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his father Preciliano Martinez and his mother Ramona Martinez. Hector was a loving man. He loved his children, grandchild friends and family. He will be missed dearly by his children and family. Thanks to all who never let him walk alone. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel in Payette from 7 – 9 pm on Thursday, March 11, 2010. Graveside Services will be held at the Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 10:00 am.
