Dear Brenda and the Boys,
We were so sad to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a good friend to my Mom for so many years. Even though so many miles separated them over so many years they always remained able to stay in touch and pick up where they left off in their conversation.
I'll always remember visits to your parents home in Fall River on a Saturday night and all the great snacks and fun we had together. When I look at our family album I see those photos of all of us at Fogland Beach in Tiverton, RI with your Dad Loren, Mom and my Mom and sisters. Those were happy times! I see those pictures of Brenda, Doug, Mike and me in our Easter Sunday best standing in our driveway after going off to Church then playing in the sandbox. Hard to believe it was so many years ago.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers over the next several days. Although we are far apart in miles, we are close in heart. Your Mom and Dad are in a good place with Our Lord. I am sure they are up there with Chet and my sister Mary Ann, wathcing over all of us until we are someday again together.
