Marian Elizabeth (Stevenson) Wilson 98, died Friday, July 2 in Boise.  Graveside services will be held in Evergreen Cemetery in Ontario, Oregon at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 7.  A memorial service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Boise on Thursday July 8 at 10:00 am.
 
She was born December 12, 1911 at Burgess, Illinois to LeRoy and Edna (Anjal) Stevenson. At the age of 10 she moved with her family to Monmouth, Illinois. She was a graduate of Monmouth High School in 1929 and Monmouth College in 1933. She taught school for two years in Illinois.
 
On June 4, 1935 she was married to Raymond L. Wilson, a United Presbyterian minister. They served churches at Media, Illinois; Seattle, Washington; Ontario, Oregon; Emmett, Idaho; Hazelton and Eden, Idaho; Roswell, Idaho and Adrian, Oregon. After Raymond’s retirement in July of 1975, they made their home in Ontario, where they lived for almost 25 years. In April of 1999, they moved to the Valley View Retirement Center in Boise.
 
She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church of Ontario, where she has served as a deacon. She has also held offices in the Presbyterian Women’s Association and the Boise Women’s Presbyterial.
 
Survivors include one son, Richard (Sally) of Bainbridge Island, Washington; two daughters, Jane (James) Smyser of South Riding, Virginia, and Nancy Wilson of Boise; two grandsons, Steven (Megan) Smyser of New York City, New York, and Jeffrey Smyser of Richmond, Virginia; and one great-granddaughter, Abigail Smyser of New York City. She was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away on November 26, 2000, five brothers, and one sister.

I have many fond memories of Rev. & Mrs. Wilson of their days at the Adrain Presbyterian Church - my love & prayers go out to the family.

Dear family.. Many fond memories of you three growing up in Emmett.. Janie and Sherry playing many a piano duets.. Sherry passed 15 yrs ago with Non Hodgkin Lympthnoma.. leaving two grown children ..There are now 5 beautiful Gr/children for her.. My Bob passed suddenly Feb. 16 this year .. after 67 yrs together, it's very lonely.. God Bless all of you. Your parents were special friends to us and many in Emmett.. I was in Donnelly and miss the obituary.. Love to all.. Georgia Lee
