Francisca C. Fuentes (Panchita)

Born February 10, 1927 – April 27, 201

Francisca C. Fuentes passed away of natural causes at age 90, in Caldwell, Idaho surrounded by family members. 

She was born in Piedras Negras Coah. México to Margarito Cedillo and Sofia Coronado. At age 19 she married Eusebio S. Fuentes. They moved to Eagle Pass, Texas then migrated to numerous states to do agricultural work. Then settled in Nyssa, Oregon in 1994. Where they raised 12 children. 

She enjoyed watching the Seattle Mariners, which she was able to see in person. She liked golf, tennis, andto watch her favorite boxer Oscar de La Hoya. She also loved going to Jackpot, Nevada. She enjoyed gardening, watering all her plants and talking to her grandkids about her childhood. 

She was loved by many people, she had a heart of gold and didn’t know how to say “NO.” She also helped out the community to bake food for funeral services. People loved her Tamales and Menudo that she made on the weekends. 

Francisca is proceeded in death by her husband Eusebio Fuentes, daughter Guadalupe Parra, and her son’s Eusebio Fuentes Jr. and Marcos Fuentes.

She is survived by Yolanda Hernandez, Maria de Jesus Landrey, Graciela Fuentes, Daniel Fuentes, Arturo Fuentes, Gilberto Fuentes, Sofia Guillen, Ricardo Fuentes and Liz Veronica Fuentes. She also had numerous grandkids and great grandkids and great-great grandkids.

Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Nyssa, Oregon located at 504 Locust Ave. Funeral service will be on Thursday May 4th at 11:00am at St. Bridget’s. Burial to follow mass at Nyssa Hill Top Memorial.
